Jason just couldn’t settle with having only ONE Chaos Daemon Primarch. So to follow up his Magnus the Red, he brings on the Daemon Prince of Nurgle: Mortarion!
What a beast of a model! First revealed at Armies on Parade and finally shared here. Jason definitely wanted to maintain his Heresy era Death Guard scheme with Mortarion and to also have his flesh transition to green to mimic his Nurgle Daemon components. The wings were the toughest decision and after weighing in his options he went with a grey wing. It provided a great contrast to the lighter colors on the armor and helped strengthen the dark, decaying worlds that the bases were on.
Now that he’s finally painted and Armies on Parade is over, he can’t wait to use him on the table (and team him up with his brother)!
